The original Cherry Vale School House. Built in 1926, this one-room school house served Cherry Creek Valley children for nearly 20 years. Its largest class was just 15 students.
The cabin sits a stone’s throw from Cherry Creek, and the creek sounds through the open windows at night will lull you into a peaceful nights sleep.
The School has been completely renovated into a quaint 1-room rustic country cottage that sleeps 3-4 comfortably with a queen bed and full-size futon. It features a wood burning fireplace, a complete kitchenette with cook stove/oven, refrigerator, wash sink, microwave, and coffee maker. A new addition of a modern bathroom with shower has replaced the old Outhouse.
The wood burning stove will keep you nice and toasty if there is a chill in the air, or you can choose the electric heater if fires aren't your thing. If it is warm outside, open the windows for a nice breeze, turn on the ceiling fan, or use the window AC.
Parking is right out front. There is a gas grill, fire pit, and tree swing you are welcome to use.
