It features a wood burning fireplace, a complete kitchenette with cook stove/oven, refrigerator, wash sink, microwave, and coffee maker. A new addition of a modern bathroom with shower has recently replaced the old Outhouse. The cabin also has a DVD player and several movies.

This cabin was built by settlers almost 100 years ago for their children's education. Not only is it cozy and quaint, but it is also history rich. This cabin is a favorite among honeymooners.
The wood burning stove will keep you nice and toasty if there is a chill in the air, or you can choose the electric heater if fires aren't your thing. If it is warm outside, open the windows and listening to the creek just beyond the cabin.
The kitchen includes basic cooking tools, a mini-fridge, a sink and a gas range and oven. There isn't running water in the kitchen, but the bathroom has a hose attached to the side of the sink for any water you may need.
Parking is right out front. There is a gas grill, fire pit, and tree swing you are welcome to use.
The couch/sofa can fit two adults if you like to cuddle. It is more suitable for two children or one adult, but has been used by two adults for up to a week at a time as long as they like each other! 😉
480 acres of private hiking are available on the ranch! There are other families living on the ranch, so please respect the privacy of the buildings, but other than that, roam as you like! If you are interested in the best hiking spots, just ask.
Interaction with Guests
Jessica, the cabin manager, lives just across the road from the school house and is available for any questions or needs you might have. If you wish to be private, you don't have to see her at all!
You will need your own car. Be prepared for mud if it is raining, the road into the ranch and the roads on the ranch are dirt.
Other Things to Note
